True north in a world of woody, warming cocktails, the North Star is an aromatic, herbal concoction with complex aromas to occupy the palate.

- 70 ml Hennessy V.S.O.P
- 10 ml Maple syrup
- 1 Dash fee brothers black walnut bitters
- 1 Dash Angostura bitters™
- 1 Star anise
- Place all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir with ice until chilled.
- Strain into an Old-Fashioned glass without ice.
- Garnish with star anise.
