THE MAISON LAUNCHES ITS LATEST SUSTAINABILITY REPORT.
This fifth edition sheds light on major advances for our Maison, which has been committed to adopting a sustainable development approach for nearly 30 years. In the face of climate and societal challenges, we are continuing to make progress across all areas for which we are responsible, driven by our beliefs. Find out about the initiatives we’ve taken.
INNOVATION SUPPORTING DECARBONISATION
Maison Hennessy is addressing the key drivers of its carbon footprint by partnering to develop industrial innovations. End of 2024, the Maison supported its long-standing supplier Verallia in commissioning the first electric furnace dedicated to large-scale bottle production. This is also the case with French start-up Neoline and its first sailing cargo vessel for transatlantic shipping which set sail in October 2025. Maison Hennessy has committed to shipping 4 million bottles per year to the United States aboard this vessel, avoiding around 350 tCO2eq annually (vs. 2023).
AGROECOLOGY AND BIODIVERSITY ENHANCEMENT
They remain our top priorities, as demonstrated by the certification of 50% of our vineyard areas, the planting of 200* km of hedgerows since 2020 through the “1000 Palisses” project, and the regeneration of 23,064* hectares of forest ecosystems worldwide.

A RENEWED COMMITMENT TO PROMOTING WOMEN
Following 10 years of the “Vignoble au féminin” (Wine for Women) programme alongside our female winegrowing partners, the Maison is continuing this initiative with “Les Elles du Cognac” (The Women of Cognac) to support women’s success in the industry.
For its inaugural session at the end of November 2025, this programme brought together 120 women from the winegrowing industry. The day was filled with workshops and talks from people involved in the Farm’Her programme, organised by the HECTAR experimental farm co-founded by Audrey Bourolleau and Xavier Niel.
